The Town Board meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, starting at 6:00 p.m., with the exception of April, where it will typically be held the 3rd Tuesday, following the Annual Town Meeting.
Meetings are held at the Town Hall, 180771 County Road Z, Birnamwood, WI 54414.
Monthly meeting notices are published in the Antigo Times and Wittenberg Northerner weekly shoppers.
Meeting agendas are posted on this website 72 hours prior to the start of the meeting. You can also find a copy of the meeting agenda at the following 3 Town bulletin board locations:

We encourage Town residents to attend Town Board Meetings, and during each meeting there is an opportunity for Town residents to bring up any concerns or comments before the Town Board.
Please be aware, if you do have a specific concern you would like to bring up to the Board, which may require official action taken, please contact Clerk Valerie Parker, at (715) 581-4603, or vparkerplover@gmail.com the Wednesday prior to the meeting, to give enough time to have you included on the meeting agenda.
Pursuant to WI Statutes 60.11 (https://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/statutes/statutes/60/III/11), each Town shall hold an Annual Town Meeting of Electors on the 3rd Tuesday of April.
Per Wis. Stat. s. 60.41, The Town Board annually shall prepare a statement of condition of the Town, and present the statement to the Annual Town Meeting. The statement shall include the previous year's revenues, expenditures, and the current indebtedness of the Town.
Each municipality in Wisconsin must hold an Open Book and Board of Review (BOR) session.
Open Book and Board of Review sessions generally take place late April to mid-June; however, some may occur later.

The Annual Town Budget Hearing typically takes place in October or November, prior to the release of the upcoming Tax Roll.
A summary of the budget and notice of the time and place of the public hearing, will be made public and posted at least 15 days prior to the time of the public hearing.
