Town of Plover Public Gathering – Come for Coffee, Conversation, & Fun! 

In past years, the Town would periodically hold Neighborhood Watch Committee Meetings.  I believe the last one was held back in 2017 or 2018??  We have not held one since following the passing of some wonderful people, then the COVID outbreak, followed by everyone just being really busy.

However, in January, at our regular Town Board Meeting, Supervisor Pete Marien, brought up that his wife Cathy is interested in coordinating (along with Karla Larson) informal public gatherings at the Town Hall, where residents would come together for some coffee, conversation, and fun. 

The Board thought this was a great idea, and so we are going to give this idea a try!

If you are interested in attending, the gatherings will be held at the Town Hall, at 9:00 a.m., on the 2nd Thursday of each month.

Coffee will be provided.  Feel free to bring your own coffee mug, or if you prefer a drink of your choice.

The first gathering (02/08/2024) will be to gain ideas of interests, activities, or games of things to do.  The ultimate goal is to get to know your fellow Town of Plover neighbors. 

It is possible that at some of these gatherings a quorum of the Board may be present.  However, please know, there will be no official Town business conducted at any of these events.
